I'm Mayank

I received my Ph.D. in 2018 from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India in the area of Impinging jet heat transfer especially experimental investigation on the effect of additives in the argumentation of heat transfer. After the degree, I worked as an Assistant Professor (Full time) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur, India for short period. In the year 2019, I received National Post-doctoral Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) India, to conduct my research work at the Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) Bangalore. Mid of 2019, I moved to Korea to works at the division of advanced nuclear engineering (DANE) in POSTECH focusing on severe accident research specifically studying ex-vessel debris bed coolability by experimental methods. I am currently working on the development of mitigation measures as well as developing various analytical tools and methodology for risk-significant severe accidents assessment at ARTS Lab SNU. In addition, I work on the fundamental investigation on boiling in various micro/nanostructured surfaces with chemical characteristics of hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity and with the use of magnetic nanoparticles.
